January 21, 2012 Foilist Danny Cullen has made On Target history. By winning first place (out of 6 competitors) at the Wolverine Classic Foil Tournament at West Geauga High School today, Danny has become the first On Target fencer to win 1st Place at two different tournaments at two different locations on the same day. Look below in the results for the In House On Target Foil Tournament in North Ridgeville, and you will see that Danny won 1st place there and then also. Way to go Danny !

December 10, 2011, Wadsworth Grizzly D and Under Foil Tournament. Matt Koogler won 1st place and his D11 rating in this new tournament. Danny Cullen was 7th out of 19 fencers. Meghan Bremmer gained valuable experience coming in 19th place.
November 20, 2011, Kent State University, Kent, Ohio. On Target Fencers were in force at the 3rd Annual Kent Fall Open. We had our best results in Epee with Jeff Rodachy and Jay Kline winning 3rd place out of 20. Derek Wilikinson followed in 5th with his wife Heather in 13th and Lauren McCoy in 19th. We had more foilists in the competition than any other club. Men's Foil Captain David Kallevig finished highest in a very competitive field in 9th place. Matt Koogler was 10th with John Volota 11th. Lauren McCoy was 15th with Tom Nagy 20th. Danny Cullen was 22nd and newcomer Meghan Bremmer, fencing in her first USFA competition was 30th.

October 8, 2011 Fencing Masque, Fairview Park, Ohio. The first Fencing Masque was a success, it was organized by Gwen Bonca and Mark Park. In Mixed Epee, Derek Wilkinson was 3rd out of 17 fencers. Jeff Rodachy was 6th with Mark Park in 7th place. Heather Wilkinson was 10th with Jay Kline in 12 place. Lauren McCoy was 15th and Gwen Bonca was 17th. For the first time in a long time, On Target Foil Fencers swept all medal positions. Lead by AJ Larkin in First Place, followed by Tom Nagy in 2nd. John Volota and new Men's Foil Captain David Kallevig tied for 3rd place out of 16 fencers. With this result, John and David both earned their E11 rating in Foil. Danny Cullen was 9th, followed by Lauren McCoy in 10th place.
September 24, 25, 2011 Fencers against Diabetes Tournament, Independence High School, Independence, Ohio. This charity event gets larger and better every year attracting quality fencers from the Great Lakes region. On Target Fencers came in droves to compete and support this worth cause. In Mixed Foil, Men's Captain AJ Larkin finished highest at 36th place out of 82 fencers. Lauren McCoy was 47th, followed by Tom Nagy at 49th. David Kallevig was 57th, Danny Cullen was 65th and Women's Foil Captain Gwen Bonca was 78th. Catalina Delapena was 8th place in Youth 12 Foil. In Mixed Epee, Derek Wilkinson turned in another strong performance taking the silver medal out of 87 fencers. Men's Epee Captain Mark Park had an impressive 11th place showing. Jay Kline was 22nd, followed by Jeff Rodachy at 23rd. Eric Elmi earned his E 2011 rating by finishing in 38th place. Heather Wilkinson was 57th, Steve Roy was 80th, Gwen Bonca was 81st and Lauren McCoy was 84th.
September 3, 2011, James Sager Memorial Open, Cleveland State University, Cleveland, Ohio. Derrick Wilkinson was 2nd out of 19 in Mixed Epee, Mark Park was 13th with Gwen Bonca 18th. Danny Cullen was 10th out of 19 in Mixed Foil. David Kallevig, fencing in his first USFA tournament was 14th. Mark Park was 3rd out of 6 in Mixed Sabre, Gwen Bonca was 6th.
August 20, 2011, Falcon Open, Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, Ohio. In mixed Epee, Derek Wilkinson was 1st place out of 35 fencers. Epee Captain Mark Park was 15th, followed by Coach Jeff Rodachy in 16th. Supermom Heather Wilkinson was 29th, Lauren McCoy was 32nd and Gwen Bonca completed the field in 35th. In Mixed Foil, Danny Cullen medaled at 3rd place out 17 competitors.
July 31, 2011, Hooked on Fencing Everyone in Da Pool Epee Tournament, North Royalton, Ohio. Lauren McCoy of Strongsville gained valuable experience coming in 12th place out of 12 competitors.
June 24, 2011, Cyrano's Place C and Under Mixed Foil, Lakewood, Ohio. Danny Cullen has reached a milestone in his fencing career. In a C and Under Foil Tournament of 15 competitors, Danny earned 3rd place and his E 2011 rating. Over the last year, Danny has been working hard, practicing with all the Coaching Staff of On Target and it's most experienced fencers to improve himself. Danny has also been competing in every tournament he possibly could to earn valuable strip experience. His hard work has paid off. But he is not done yet.
May 28, 2011, Ohio High School Championships, Independence, Ohio. Danny Cullen was our lone representative in this new event. Danny earned valuable experience finishing in 20th place in Men's Foil.

April 16, 2011. At the Bowling Green/University of Toledo Classic, On Target Foil Fencers dominated with Derek Wilkinson winning 1st place by defeating teammate Danny Cullen, Jeff Rodachy took 3rd place with Dana Miller coming in 13th out of 15. Five Epee fencers fared well with Jeff Rodachy taking 2nd place out of 25 competitors, Mark Park was 4th with Heather Wilkinson following in 9th. Lauren McCoy was 17 and Gwen Bonca was 25th.
April 9, 2011. At the prestigious Ohio High School Fencing Championships held at Ohio State University, Danny Cullen 9th grade Home Schooler earned valuable experience finishing in 22 place out of 25.
March 20, 2011. At the March Mayhem Tournament sponsored by Cyrano's Place, On Target Fencers fared well. In Mixed Epee with 7 fencers, Epee Captain Mark Park won 1st place and Lauren McCoy finished in 6th. In Mixed Foil, Tom Nagy was 1st out of 10 fencers. Lauren McCoy came in 3rd and Danny Cullen was 8th.

February 13, 2011. At the Oberlin College Stabbed In The Heart Tournament, On Target Fencers came out in numbers to either participate or spectate. In Mixed Epee with 37 fencers, Derek Wilkinson finished highest in 11th place. Mark Park was 17th. Jeff Rodachy was 20th while Heather Wilkinson came in 27th. Steve Roy followed behind in 30th.
In Mixed Foil, Tom Nagy was 5th out of 21 fencers. Mark Park came in 7th. Danny Cullen was 14th and Women's Captain Gwen Bonca was 16th. Gwen fenced her finest bout to date in the Direct Elimination round. Originally seeded 20th, she was losing her DE 14-8. Through skill and nerves of steel she tied the bout at 14-14. With a beautifully timed straight thrust she won 15-14, scoring 7 unanswered touches in a row to win. In Mixed Sabre Eric Elmi finished in 7th out of 13 fencers.
January 29, 2010. At the Caldera D and Under Mixed Foil, Head Coach Tom Nagy won 1st place out of 24 fencers. Lauren McCoy was 7th with teammate Dan Cullen in 10th place.
